Altama was a joint effort between Stout Design and 314 Creative. Our primary role was to handle all the programming and integrate their existing inventory and shipping updates into the web site.

Their previous site was in need of an external redesign and internal overhaul. We listened carefully to the problems with their previous web site and were able to develop a comprehensive strategy for their new web site.

We utilized the Ruby on Rails framework and built a lean, mean custom application that handles product management, order processing, automated inventory updates and automated shipping notifications. It was very important that we improved the markup of the site for search engine optimization. We are continually adding new features - such as a product comparisons - and are enjoying making this project better and better.
